If he wants to be the bigger msn, Trump should sincerely apologize for personal insults of Cruz’s wife and father. That would be the first thing that needs to be done to heal the rift between them. There’s nothing wrong with apologizing for a personal insult.

That’s what should have happened, but it’s too late for that now.
I saw an interview with Megyn Kelly pressing Trump on the Heidi picture. He went as far as to say “I could have done without that.”
I figured Trump apologized for the insults at his family and in return Cruz would endorse in his speech. Obviously whatever negotiations there were failed.
At that point Cruz shouldn’t have been allowed to speak.
Trump should apologize for NOTHING, Cruz campaign hit FIRST with photos of Trump wife during her modeling career, DISPICABLE when Cruz apologizes then MAYBE Trump can also be gracious!!!
