As a former Cruz supporter all I can say is, disgraceful. He may have smugly believed that he was setting himself up for the future, but all he did was cut his own throat. He signed a pledge that he has now selfishly abandoned. He just proved that he is a complete fraud with no integrity, and certainly no honor. His word clearly means nothing, just like any other typical politician.
