The Chinese are looking to make the 208Bs that wouldn't be allowed to creep back into the US, but they botched the first round and set the program back a bit.

Here's the Fuddy crash plane just before it got its final paint job. (I sure hope this posting works for others and not just me!)   Note: this version without the pontoons is good for just one water landing!

I remember watching Sky King, back in San Diego on a little 12" B+W tv. It was 1959--and I was 3. Not to mention The Untouchables, The Rifleman and others, first-run. Yeesh...where DOES the time go? :)
