I’m one of those guys who believes the cops are completely out of control, but this guy absolutely needed blasting, and 6 times was, if anything, not enough; if the situation has gotten to the point where a guy needs blasting, I get suspicious of anybody who fires FEWER than six rounds.

First 2 shots may have missed. Last three were after the perp stopped moving but possibly before he let go of his partners gun. I would have fired the last three also.
Dad was a marine, then NYPD. He taught me how to shoot, How to breathe out and ‘squeeze’ off a round. I have been negative about the spray and pray technique for years. But the more I see videos of hopped up jerks like this POS I now understand the many shots philosophy at least in similar situations.
