1. Both were in Dallas at the time of the shooting. July 7, 2016.
Here's a video of Gavin "Cosmo" Long indicating he was in Dallas. It appears to be taken in a hotel room. He refers to "Europeans" as "devils" and the futility of non-violent protesting:

2. The Dallas shooter said he was "not affiliated" with any group.

If he claimed to be part of a group, it would open the door to further investigation and conspiracy charges.
3. Cosmo lived in Houston.
Micah X, the Dallas shooter, was in the Nation of Islam in Houston:

That's two police shooters in the same city (Houston) at the same time.
4. Both were converts to Islam (Nation of Islam, the 'white man is the devil' Americanized cult version) and both adopted new Muslim names.
5. Both were ex military.
It was thought there were two shooters in Dallas at the time of the attack.
Leads to these questions:
Might they have worked together?
Are there other members of their group at large?
We know given the politics (blacks, Muslims) the Obama administration wouldn't want this information out.
Finally, the New Black Panthers just today opened a chapter in Baton Rouge, La.
What is the connection between the attacker and this group?

This video claims he was in Dallas and is seen, but does not appear to be the same person because the ears are differently shaped.

In his article in Daily Caller, Ross said this (and linked to one of Long's youtube video's):

That might have been the Houston post. He went to Houston from Dallas. Then to Baton Rouge.
This has the shootout from a nearby eyewitness streaming it:
1. You can see a large SUV with windows tinted (police?) drive off during the gunfight.
2. Looks like a pretty close quarters gun battle if that’s the perp who appears from behind the officer’s car to fire at him.
3. I’m wondering if his plan was something else.
a. He didn’t fire his gun to get 911 callers going. They just saw him and seemingly surprised him when they did.
b. Someone with Marine / military training. Had he planned something he could have taken down more than just 3 officers by surprise.
c. The first officer he shot was African American.

Echo in that post wasn’t in the original. He said he was in Dallas in the streets and he had been planning to go there before the shooting. Hotel records would tell when he was there, of course.
I saw a Chevy vehicle he was driving in one video and read that he’d rented a vehicle. Looked like an SUV.
Long changed his name to the Cosmo thing. He was involved in the Moorish sovereign citizen thing. Moorish Science, NOI evolved from it. I just posted about it with a link or two, checmy comments. I gotta go to bed right now.
How can you deduce that the video was made in Dallas from the hotel room? Just curious.
