Thanks. Yeah, I think the organic will go (Sprout’s are poppin’ it seems) but so far haven’t seen anything from any other store-bought.

Tonight, I dropped a few orange bell pepper - it’s a Walmart - if it goes, I’ll be surprised. Otherwise, it will become base soil for the upcoming transplant.

I just dropped at least 40 seeds from a tomato. Good gosh, the first 40 or so took off like a rocket. They did more in 2.5 weeks than another (lousy soil) has done in 6-8 weeks. That’s where the carrots are and they are tiny, tiny. I’ll be lucky if I can cut them out for transplant.

Got a starter set from Lowe’s with 16 pods. Put in multi-color peppers. Looked like only 8 would come in. Then after a few weeks 4 of the remaining 8 started growing. Then about 3 weeks and 2 of the last 4. Now, the last 2 started growing (the last one got the organic pepper - at least 11 growing - I’ll have to separate them).

I’ll post a pic of that kit if I can find it. Good for rookies like me. Gotta have patience, though.

It was a 4x4 for 16 total - 7 transplanted to bigger pot and 9 to another. Probably 36 plants at least growing plus the 11 others on Sprout's organic peppers. I'll have a lot of separation to do. These things are going like gangbusters now. After about 6 weeks I think (lost count).
