Doesn’t make any difference. Maybe he called himself that because he got chewed out for not having overinflated balls addressed.

It was a vendetta, nothing else. Anyone who has looked at the facts/circumstances and the conduct of league officials has readily agreed the entire thing was cooked up.
As for reading, I didn’t need to read the Wells Report, I read the summaries of the report and the interviews, but the bottom line is, the basic premise the balls were deflated is flawed. I no more needed to read the details past that, any more than one needs to read the entire “work” of Marx or the economic viewpoints of socialists like Bernie Sanders to know the foundation is fundamentally flawed, so nothing built on top of it is valid.
That's sufficient. Combine that with the text messages, the testimony of other players, and it's a pretty convincing case.
This is not some kind of criminal trial where proof beyond a reasonable doubt is required.
Similar to a civil case, the standard is "preponderance of evidence", and that standard was met in this case.
The fact that Brady, after all this time, finally threw in the towel, tells me he knew he was going to lose his final appeal.
So Brady will miss the first 4 games of the NFL season, including the Patriots game against the Dolphins. Good.
For the Brady apologists to claim that he's totally innocent simply because a criminal standard of proof was not met, is absolutely ludicrous.
The evidence clearly shows there was something going on. Enough is enough. He's been adjudicated guilty by the commissioner of the league that's perfectly entitled to do so. This is a victory for people who believe that a company has an inherent right to set policy with respect to employee discipline, as long as such policy doesn't violate any formal collective bargaining agreement. And a court has determined that the collective bargaining agreement was NOT violated.
The only reason Brady won initially was because a clearly activist, pro-labor judge tried to turn legal precedent on its head, and impose arbitrary law from the bench.
For that reason alone, it's good that the NFL won the case.
Whether the NFL was fair or not, I really don't care at this point. They have the right to discipline their employees, subject to the restrictions dictated by the CBA. They did so. End of story.
Oh my. Was Tom Brady involved in changing of air pressure in the footballs? His trainer says he was and had texts. Tom’s phone had a boating accident when they asked for it. The NFL said yes. His coach didn’t defend him.
Actually, the CBA gives the commissioner ridiculous powers...and Goodell even botched that. Two of the judges in the 2nd Appeals Court included Internet stuff in their summary that even the NFL didn’t claim, got the sequence of events out of order in regards notice, and demonstrated a most bizarre interpretation of what arbitration is.
For example, Brady has not yet actually had a hearing, much less an appeal, in regards the phone issue - as is required under the CBA.
The 2nd Court of Appeals introduced several substantial matters into their botched ruling.

Good grief, the ball boy, in May during the offseason, and in a context clearly having nothing to do with football, referred to himself a single time as The Deflator”. No one else is known to have referred to him as such, nor he more than the one time.
Months later, there is substantial evidence that there was no such scheme as the refs successfully pumped balls up to nearly 16 PSI for a Jets game at Foxborough.
At this point, the physics has been worked out to the extent that even if Brady claimed he deflated the footballs, he’d have a hard time proving it even plausible.

So you have no idea how texting works...but have a fervent opinion on what it means.
Nor was any hearing ever held on whether he was to be punished for destroying his phone.
Nor did the NFL ask for his phone - Wells adamantly testified that he did not, and that further he never told Brady there would be any consequences for not turning it over.
Nor was he ever accused of destroying the texts - which the NFL requested, but when asked by Brady’s lawyer under what authority they had any right to private communications on a personal phone, they did neither respond nor protest in any way prior to announcing the punishment.
Further, when Brady did learn of the fit the NFL was throwing, the metadata of the texts was presented which showed the NFL had every single relevant text. It apparently is a surprise to you that texts not only go from someone, but to somebody else...and the texts are in not only both of those places, but various applications retain copies in cloud storage as well.
Brady smashed his phone, behaved like the high school jock who got away with something, and had texts with a guy who called himself the deflator. In addition, the deflator went inside a bathroom with the footballs. That was illegal in of itself.
Going inside the bathroom without the balls would have been worse...but yes, it’s not in accordance of Best Practices.
On the other hand...no evidence of an offense regarding pressures - only evidence that the NFL leadership was too daft to understand what “outdoors” means, and repeated instances of the NFL not following its own procedures, lying about evidence, and hiding exculpatory evidence.
MOST outdoor football games are played with footballs outside of specs. The full natural PSI variation approaches 6 PSI - which the calculations and equations in the Wells report agree with, by the way.

The recent decision had nothing whatsoever to do with whether the charges were true or not. The decision was based entirely on whether Commissioner Goodell had the authority under the collective bargaining agreement to determine the punishments for players.
The odds that the Supreme Court would hear the case, regardless of the merits, is extremely small. Brady's decision had nothing to do with the fact that he was right and has been dishonestly accused. It is because the Supreme Court is not likely to regard the case as a priority.

The NFL would never have done this to a black QB. Black player shave been known to injure other players on purpose and in violation of the rules without any punishment.

Brady never tampered with the footballs. Nobody did. The drop in air pressure was due to the footballs being outside in the cold.

Your analogy doesn’t work.
As far as Gaylord Perry and other doctors of the baseball, a closer analogy would be individual NFL players doctoring their equipment or receivers wearing super sticky substance on their hands. I consider the gloves they wear to be highly suspect, BTW.
Again, the referees should have been held accountable for not detecting the supposed “big difference” in football inflation between the two teams.

As for your statement about no one in the NFL understanding basic physics, I do not believe that. The NFL is a multi-billion dollar organization. You can be sure that they have access to knowledge of the simple basics of the Ideal Gas Law.
The fraudulent leaks, the ignoring of the facts and the media campaign of lies against Brady convinces me the the NFL deliberately lied when falsely accusing Brady of “cheating”.
They were forced to admit their data and analysis were fraudulent. They were forced to admit Brady never tampered with the footballs. They were forced to admit they lied and leaked false information to the media.
Goodell and Wells are the cheaters, not Brady.
So, only the Patriot footballs deflated not the Colt ones?

Moreover, this was the first time in NFL history that such a thing was recorded-amazing!

The charges were legit and Brady new it and that is why the owner of the Patriots took the deal which the NFL offered to him.
You probably think the Patriots were innocent on spygate as well!
