I don't put political bumper stickers on my car. I like to be able to get in and drive it when I need to, not deal with slashed tires, broken windows, or keyed paint.
Many conservatives are that way in areas where liberals are known to do these things.
That being said, I saw far more Bernie stickers than anything else this year. I've seen a couple of Trump stickers, and maybe about a half-dozen Hillary stickers.
The vast majority of Trump supporters know full well how violent leftists are, and would never put a Trump bumper sticker on their car or sign on their lawn.
If anyone asks me who I support in the election, I just start mumbling incoherently. That usually ends the conversation. ;-)
That is “freedom of speech” in the US, 2016 version.
