So? Let there be a first-round protest vote. After that, those delegates who have voted as they were assigned from the primaries (or have revolted, and cast votes for other than Trump, if there is any of that kind of thing allowed under GOP party rules, and state and federal election laws) can be queried concerning what their concerns are.
What's the Party's platform here? Should there be any platform, at all? If there is, how should 'plank' items among GOP be worded? Is Trump good with it? If so -- then what's the beef?
After a few rounds of voting, then ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. And here's what he stands for...
Perhaps I'm not understanding how electoral Party Conventions go, or am dimly recalling how electoral convention proceedings were once portrayed to include...and am not getting that right.
Or maybe, just maybe, some of the hand-wringers around this joint (present company excluded) should sit tight in their Depends, if it turns out they insist upon crapping themselves and having irritated itchy-butt ---that drives them to projectile vomiting crankiness aimed at each and every soul who does not simply fall prostrate on the floor before the Donald.
Trump likes to be number 1, of course -- but I get the impression that at this point, he's on the look-out for the best ideas, and the best people. (Sorry Newt, there could be a place for you, but as you've said, you don't want to attend perfunctory meetings and funerals in foreign lands)...
Who's streets? OUR streets.
GOP delegates could make the rioters in the streets look bad (even worse than they are, and will be) by getting down to business and agreeing upon what is important. At risk of appearing to come across as borrowing from AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) handbook -- put principles over personalities. That principle can apply to tee-teetotalers too.
Trump is more than open to suggestions? Or am I projecting onto that man something not there?
