Just like the Ramans there were three. It got more and more socialist as it went on. All three books sit gathering dust on my bookshelf, never to be opened again.

The way it ended was super-lame-o.

After reading further down the thread, I learned there were a couple others in the series. Oh well, I will not waste any more time reading the stuff. ACC is far too big a hypocrite for me to enjoy his work anymore.

Never got to the ones written by just Gentry Lee.

First one was good. After that? Meh.

Like Isaac Asimov’s ‘Foundation Trilogy’. The Trilogy was good. But after a multi decade hiatus the ones after the trilogy were pretty stinky.
