The History Channel had a 4 hour documentary on it the past two nights. The guys presenting their case of who Cooper was claimed the “found money” was planned so the feds would finally think he was dead and close the case. The show didn’t prove who DB Cooper was and they couldn’t get the FBI to take their leads seriously. It was a waste of 4 hours. I don’t think they were anywhere close to the right guy.
I knew they would never catch me.

A night jump about two years before DB, one guy is found hung up in a tree, his feet about three feet above the ground.
When ask why he was still hanging, he said he could not see the ground in the dark and unsure if popping the reserve would be long enough to get down on.
Ol’ DB, stuck in a tree, cold rainy, dark; a big fall as he slides down the reserve.
Serious leg injuries, dies of exposure in the woods.
