True dat, but in this case we were speaking of those that reach out and touch you, as opposed to those that kill you only if you eat them.
English and Spanish ... although sometimes Upnorth children don't understand Southron, either. The Hawkes children (good Brit name ;-) will be my first English-speaking non-Americans.
My co-leader in Cub Scouts is also English: an engineer, which is very helpful. His son is a nervous little guy, but so were some of mine at 7 or so. He likes the outdoors, at least.
