We are getting the smoke from the California fires, and it is really ugly.

Tom the Son is gripy because we put a password on the schoolroom computer that has to be entered before it will boot up. Also put a password on Netflix. The goal is to make him (and Elen, when she returns) less comfortable here, so that they will work extremely hard in school and get lives.

They arrive.. But right now the arrival mechanism here is a bit thwarted as we no longer have a resident feral female. We do have a resident feral Tom (son of the former resident Tom who was killed by dogs), but it seems he has not invited any of his paramours home with him..
