I dwell on religious doctrines a lot. Sometimes I dwell on religious doctrines in the context of what NicknamedBob recently said. I have a lot of room for doctrinal and contextual dwelling.

I also have the hiccups.

I think of myself as somewhat spiritual, rather than religious. But then I do this stuff:

A Walk With God

God and I were walking,
Along the endless sands,
Of the beaches of forever,
On my familiar span.

I had a million questions,
He had one answer, "Yes!"
Whatever's not a small reward,
Is just a simple test.

I try to walk here every day.
We watch the time and tide.
The rhythm of days is lulling,
Just I, and with Him beside.

I have no fear of fortune,
As We are walking here,
For peace and joy encompass me,
Because my God is near.

How soon are you needing a reply?

Took a quick look and without digging deeper, I can definitely recommend anything from Ravi Zacharias. John Piper is OK, understanding that he is coming from a Calvinist Baptist point of view (which to some is a contradiction right there..)

On that quick note I’ll go back to getting music ready for tomorrow and herding Grandkids.. ;-)

MerryChristmas, Undeaders! I survived another frigid day and night! I’m going to go shower, soon, before the Dirty Dozen Minus Nine awakens and wants to shower.

I’ m very anxious to go home, if nothing else than to see my daughter.

Greg texted me last night and asked me not to turn him in to Housing for parking “there” so I told him I wasn’t home and that I wouldn’t turn him in, anyway.

Nobody’s up here except DP, me, and Shannon.

I just took time out for my shower, so now, I’m having a breathing treatment, then I’ll have to take my pills. The humidity here is something else. No wonder I’m having a hard time breathing!

Church is at 1000, then back home for something. Lingolover cooks enough food at each meal for an army, then can’t figure out why the fridge has no room for new groceries.

Since I’ve been here I haven’t been taking my silver. L-l took all my stuuf and shoved it around because she couldn’t get to the bread box as quickly as she wanted to, because my pills (in baggies) for the day were in front of it. She hasn’t gotten into it since.

All I can do is forgive her.
