Purple and Pink?
How, um, gay..
Yeah.....
Totally.
Good Morning TC’
Made a decision just now and acted on it.
(When you’ve got up off the floor). :)
Decided to take a short break up to Yorkshire next week. Recharge the batteries in the home county. Nothing strenuous.
They give good weather for the week, and I’ve seen what is lurking out in the Atlantic.
Hey, Moose! I hope you have a lovely time in Yorkshire. I don’t think there are as many murders there as in some other parts of your country ...
I will keep a special look out for murder sites.
There are one or two come to mind. Goathland, for example.
The pace of life is just so much more human up there.
There is no intention to plan anything , just act spontaneously....the first planning discussion will be tonight.
LOL! It’s very important to organize your spontaneity carefully.
Pensive kitteh says reading is boring unless you know all the words.
Good morning/afternoon, Ganag! My but the conversation was interesting yesterday. I wish I had felt like taking part.
I’m going to go shower and then head for Walmart where I will fight with the night stalkers to get some food. And during one or the other of those times, I’ll contemplate the Greekiness of reading the tomes and scrolls from the confines of a time machine. Where is Dr. Who when you need him?
Just think of the fun you could have with a time machine.
Bottle of C*ke in Egyptian tombs....
Biro corrections on ancient papyrus....
Leave a note at Macchu Pichu for Hiram Bingham....”Took your Time, Hiram” .
Steel Rebar sticking out of the Great Wall of China....
Save the Titanic...
Howya, ‘Face! We’re back from the Non-optional Family Athletic Exertion (3 times around the block = 2 miles). Frank cut out after the 2nd lap. For my next thing, I’m taking Elen to school. Usually DP takes her, leaving at 7:30, but he’s taking some technology training at home this week.
See how much fun that would be? Wow. Can you picture the faces of those archeologists/explorers who found bits of modern technology in ancient stuff? With a hidden camera, we could all sit around and drink to each new “discovery!”
And I’m back from Walmart. I need to go in and take a breathing treatment — probably steroid, as I’m having chest pains again. They woke me up at 0200 this morning, so I’m thinking this is not going to be a good day.
Epic Fail Latino Lawn Service came yesterday, but they can’t seem to figure out a calendar. Not to mention the fact that this time, it was one guy with a standard sized mower, rather than three men (or four) and a girl with a riding mower, hugh push mower and an edger.
I can certainly understand Frank not wanting to hang in there for the final lap, as I’m thinking you didn’t do that at a stroll pace. (Where’s the “exertion” in that?)

Eh? In my new house the kitchen walls will be Thickened Cream Behr M290-1, the kitchen ceiling and the adjoining breakfast nook will be Behr Lavender Memory M550-2.
Oym not gay.
It was a close thing.
The ship's engineers invented counter-flooding on the spot, keeping the Titanic from turning turtle (something that nearly always happened) and promptly sinking, this allowed all the life boats to launch and saved countless lives.
Had the ship not cracked it two*, it might have stayed barely afloat until the Carpathian showed up.
* Due to a design flaw, the center expansion joint had a sharp end which acted as a stress concentrator and allowed a tear to start. This was fixed on the sister ship, the Britannic.
I knew that about the Titanic, but didn’t know how to explain it. Thanks.
As for the house colors? Is that lavender very pale? It sounds rather kitcheny if it is. At least, I could live with it, though I doubt I’ll ever see it! “Thickened cream?”
We’re exerting at a pace Kathleen can keep up for two miles. Frank’s just a whiner.
I got a couple of things at The Salvation Army, but there wasn’t anything very good The pros were there when it opened, people buying items based on the labels, for resale rather than their own use. It’s honest free enterprise!
I found another big T-shirt at Wally’s for $2! It wasn’t the best color (some ugly green) but the price was right, and I need to change them every night. This is getting really odd. Still, the shirt was cheaper than I could have found in a thrift store.
Which I might just check out on Saturday, since I’ll be in that area, anyway. (I don’t like to go places when I know Oscar-the-Grouch may take my spot... Since he works on Saturday that will be safe.)
Summer clothes are on deep discount at my Walmart.
