Well, the retail outlet copy suggests the yuck factor is a plus to indoctrinate the young in tea drinking. Sort of a Garbage Can Kids Candy, Gummi Worms thing.

Oh. My. Gosh. What beauties!
Ol’ Deaf June had a Maine Coon, and he was tiger striped gray and black. When she began to get ill, he kind of short-circuited, and began to attack her, periodically.
When she passed away, a neighbor took him, as his cat had died. But the cat turned totally evil and eventually had to be put down. He was about 17, so I think his age had a lot to do with his behavior. He had been with June the entire time.
I felt bad for him, but he just went nuts when she began to get sick. The entire episode, from the time he began to attack her to the time she died was about a month.
