Did you ever stop to think that perhaps God created these beautiful creatures to help His children thru the long suffering we have in our lives? These creatures bring comfort and love into peoples lives.
It was wrong of you to come and post on this thread and try to diminish what Yaelle was asking for- prayers for her beloved cats healing.
You have not shown any kindness to someone who is worried and upset about a creature they love. You should apologize and then stay off this thread.

I used to watch a show called "Pet Heroes," I think. There was one cat that detected a person with low insulin and wouldn't stop meowing until the lady's husband woke up. The kitty saved her life. There are countless stories of cats and dogs saving and rescuing people. Consider police dogs, military dogs, etc.
God gave us an enormous gift. If my husband weren't allergic to cats, I would be more familiar with them, but they are amazing. :)
Domesticated animals are truly wonderful.
And, btw, before my Dad died recently (April 16), my sister brought her kitties and pug dog to see him... it gave him great comfort.
