Do I even have to refrigerate the bag at all? Right now it is just sitting on the counter. Maybe it is ok just at room temp. With air conditioning on.

A fresh sealed bag, no. Once it has the tubing tap put onto it, my vet recommended refrigeration between usages to head off any spoilage. Mine lasted for 4-5 uses.

But again mine was lactated Ringer’s. If yours is simple saline it might not matter.

Ye gads!!! NO, you do not refrigerate the bag...we have had to administer these fluids on many occasions over the years, and NEVER refrigerated the bag. The cat does NOT need to be chilled. Room temperature works just fine. (We just checked a bag that we happen to have for our diabetic cat...it states: RECOMMENDED STORAGE: ROOM TEMPERATURE, 25 DEGREES CELCIUS (roughly 77 degrees farenheit).
