One thing I remember, as my mom’s cat got more ill, the cat could only eat beef-based cat food. Cans of soft food. I don’t know if beef is more digestable than other things like chicken, or if it was just a preference of one particular cat. The cat used to eat anything - turkey, beef, chicken, etc. but finally she would only eat soft food from beef. I hope kitty does well!
Prayers going out for your kitteh! My cats Trouble and Tabby will also keep kitteh in their thoughts. From another animal lover! Hoping for a fast recovery and for your peace of mind.

My wife and I have four cats and love them very much, and I pray for them most days. God created cats like every other living creature, and so He sees them as GOOD! Just as Almighty God can heal a human being of illness, he can do the same for your beloved kitty! I will indeed pray for your kitty!
**BTW, when one of our cats stopped eating due to some nasty infection, we took her dry food and ground it up using a coffee grinder, and added warm water to it, and she gobbled it up. It was the consistency of cream of wheat. It made it more palatable for her, and we believe the fact that we served it to her warm made her stomach feel better. It also provided much needed liquids!**

Yaelle, I forgot to mention, we also used a plastic syringe initially to get her to eat this mush concoction, but after a few times of introducing her with her food this way, she began to eat voluntarily. We just started with small portions through the syringe, and gave it to her slowly so she wouldn’t gag and become overwhelmed.
Also, in case you don’t have one, I would recommend getting her a water dish that has a running fountain on it. This seems to encourage them to drink more as it captures their curious interest. You should be able to pick one up fairly cheap at Wal-Mart of one of the large pet chains. Our cats (All Four) love these water dishes!

You should ask about “Prenisolone 5mg”. It brought my cat back from the edge and she is doing very well. The symptoms are not exactly the same but close. You may also want to contact a homeopathic veterinarian like “South Paws” in Northern Virginia. They were miracle workers with one of my cats when nothing else worked. Also you may want to give your cat water via a needleless syringe by mouth. Under the skin keeps them alive, but drinking more water can help flush the kidneys. Also check for a kidney or bladder infection.
Get every kind of fresh fish you can find and try it all until she picks one, plus keep up the canned food she likes the most. Try body temp. milk. If all else fails, you can get a syringe and shoot food or milk into her mouth. Pet her or do whatever she likes a lot.

They do not sin and He loves them as much or more than we do or can even imagine.

Stay away from the big, factory hospitals and stick with old school (male) vets.

I have been a parent of several cats the past 20 years so I can empathize.
God bless your sick kitty. Don’t make her suffer a slow death, do the correct thing for HER and put her to sleep. An honest vet will tell you she is dying and the agony you must put her through to extend her life will only last 60-90 days. You are torturing her to save your heart from breaking. TOO late, you can only delay the inevitable. You love her, end her suffering ASAP.

Prayers for your kitty!
My now deceased cat had kidney failure. She recovered, with our giving her sub q treatments. Our vet said, looking at her numbers, she was a one in a million! Searching online for answers, I found that cats need wet food. You can give them water, but they still get most of their hydration through wet food. Her name was Cleopatra (my little girl named her), so our new kitty, a sassy tortie, is named Daenerys, aka Dany, because we only have queenly cats in our home... Wet food only...
Out vet told us to give our cat canned pumpkin, just put a little on your finger and put it on the tongue. At least it will give a little nutrition.
