You would be blow away by the Creole dialect .

I drove through once on my way from NO to Texas a few years ago via the Ten and stopped at a gas station in the Baton Rouge area.

I was amazed at the black guy in front of me in line talking to the white clerk in Creole. They were both doing it.

I personally think it’s great and like that some of our past as the USA still exists.
