If anybody wants on/off the revolutionary progressivism ping list, send me a message

Progressives do not want to discuss their own history. I want to discuss their history.

Summary: Progressives have always been bad for this country. Always.

Pen and phone, I’m glad he was a sophisticated enough to use the tools of his day.

King Theodore Roosevelt. Progressive

So enamored of himself that he had his bust carved into a mountain in Dakota to show the world what a narcissist he was.

At least TR was an American, who loved America. He was also a model of self-invention, having been a sickly child who willed himself to a vigorous adulthood. Lots to like about Teddy - despite the progressivism and monarchial tendencies.

Most Americans, including many Freepers, are brainwashed regarding this fellow. He formed his own Progressive Party for starters. He got the ball rolling on eco-whacko-ism.

He took credit for San Juan Hill after the 10th Cavalry and 24th Inf Reg did all the hard work. Typical dem practice, have Blacks do the hard work, then take all the credit.

I have a feeling RINO’s were alive and well in his era, considering he was a Republican Prez. At least FDR ran under the correct banner.

Thank you!

I have often felt alone in blaming Theodore Roosevelt for most of our subsequent woes.

He is, for example, eulogized for his progressive conservation of national lands. What he did abrogated State’s Rights, and paved the way for the Federal Leviathan and its many tentacles, especially the EPA.

Yeah, he was a pioneer: He was the first true RINO.
