Sunday Blessings!
I got my curtains. Miraculously, The Husband helped take down the old ones and the old rod and brackets with no whining at all, and a good attitude. Now that is really something. A true blessing.
I filled in the old bracket holes, then painted where the brackets were, covering up 40 year old paint that had not seen the light of day since the house was built! Took 2 coats to cover this hideous green-yellow color that was there.
Hubby wants to wait until tomorrow (which will probably turn into Tuesday) to put up the new brackets. I told him that level-ness is very important on that part of the project.
This is a 12 foot long window. It will be no small feat to make it all perfectly level.
