Remember what happened to Britany Spears a few years back, when she had a number of public meltdowns? She was declared
“incompetent” by the courts and appointed a conservator to manage her finances. Her father was that conservator for most the time.

Johnny may need something like this. His dad probably doesn’t want the conservator job, and may not be strong willed enough anyway to say “NO!” to his son’s dope purchases anyway. A neutral party would be needed. Someone who would be paid well whether or not Johnny stays ‘on the wagon’.

I’ve often thought about the Spears situation. Did her family do that because she is but a “cash cow” upon which they all depend for sustenance? Or was it done because of a father’s love for his daughter?

I see no reason for a conservator to run his finances. If he decides to blow a fortune on booze and dope, he’s over 21. And I never saw a single thing with Spears that meant her family should run her finances.
Since when is being wild and partying a license for relatives to step in and run everything? Retarded and ridiculous.
