They don’t have to repeal the 2nd amendment. All it’s going to take is one more leftist in the Supreme Court. Once the court decides the 2nd is a collective right rather than an individual right it opens the floodgates for states and cities to restrict ownership. Hell Connecticut already passed an unconstitutional registration law and the court is silent.
And the floodgates might also be opened for gun friendly states to formally incorporate the right to bear arms into their own constitutions. Open carry, no CCW needed, sell to whomever you like, you name it.
And when THAT happens, gun hating states (NY, CT, CA, & NJ & possibly IL) will go bonkers accusing 2A friendly states of causing their high gun crime rates. Travelers with plates of the latter states will be stopped & harassed, but heck, let the lines be drawn and let Civil War II begin.
Sick of these gungrabbers and their supposed inevitable victory over the rest of us. Ain’t gonna happen.
