...As elucidated in the article, the FBIs database is intended to scrutinize criminal suspects.
So much for the presumption of innocence. Youre now treated as a suspected criminal in Hawaii for exercising your fundamental 2nd Amendment rights as Americans.
Since they dont like our GIs, and they dont like our Constitution, at what point do the rest of us get to say, Enough! Get out! ?
I dont actually wish that upon my Hawaiian friends. But it occurred to me in reading this news item, that while there is a mechanism for States to voluntarily withdraw from the Union, Im unaware of a mechanism for the Union proper to expel a State that displays contempt for what the Country stands for.

I have been to the big Island twice both Hilo and Kona.
Seen from the perspective of one who first visited the islands in 1967, Hawaii is just not worth going back to:
I Have been on all the islands except for Ni’ihau, including Kaho’olawe. Company I worked for with headquarters on Oahu had operations on Kauai, Maui and the Big Island in Kona and Hilo. Visited the Big Island dozens of times on business and just to get away or visit friends, sometimes for as long as several weeks. I have driven the Saddle Road in everything from a 5 ton 6X6 to a XLCH. Sailed my boat into Kawaihae, then to Manele Bay and on to Ala Wai, Nawiliwili and Hanalei.
After a couple of laps we sailed North and found a small island in Southeast Alaska. Very refreshing.
The word itself is derogatory, from its very start. It means something like ‘soul-less’, ‘no breath’, ie. not human.
“Ive been over there & Ive seen it & heard it.”

Me too,by some Native Hawaiian activists but not everybody.
.
The locals are certainly careful when they are around the tourists, and most of the natives are of very mixed background, so using this term is a bit absurd since many of them have some connection to whites through their own family.
I don’t believe I would advocate for that...
What we have is the typical result of the welfare state we see on reservations, inner city communities, and lots of “poor” whites for example.
