He’s CA to the core. Not all of CA is full of surfing dudes and dudette liberals.

So many here on FR have no concept of what California is really like. Most of the state is rural and conservative with vastly different topography and environments from sea shore to farmland to high deserts to 14,000' mountains (the highest outside of Alaska). Unfortunately, the big cities along the coast have the highest populations and they decide the politics of the state. Many of those are Liberals who migrated here in the last 40 years from back east and ruined our state.

Thanks for the reminder, Inyo. My jocular references to California have apparently touched a soft spot with more than one person and i will be judicious in the future before applying them.

Of course, you and all are welcome to disparage my present state of residence - the People's Republic of Maryland - in fact, I wish you would! Let the outcry rise against the felons of our land!
