But, at least, a shrink might be able to tell they don’t have opposite sex organs or illnesses. They need help. By society pandering to them they only become exaggerated freak shows.
I agree. However, that doesn’t changed the fact that, irrespective of mental illness, people should be treated for physical illness or injury by the relevant practitioner. That person should be able to decide whether he wants to address or ignore the patient’s mental issues.
