Organisms have to feed. Energy to live must come from somewhere. That would be other organisms, unless you're a plant.
Perhaps there is a race of intelligent beings, somewhere, that feed directly off of sunlight. They're peaceful, benign, and have to reproduce, unless they're immortals, if the race is to continue to exist. If immortal, maybe they're angels; and they probably didn't evolve to that state.
What happens when space and access to sunlight run out? Will they peacefully die so that others may live? Why are not the others doing the same first?
No. There may be non-aggressive races out there, but that will be a philosophical position that they have arrived at when they have fulfilled all their needs (sounds like heaven,, doesn't it?).
If they don't need living space, why are they exploring the galaxy and arriving at our little green speck?
“We’re extrapolating from all the knowledge that we have.”
That’s for sure, but it is still only one example. I think it might be a mistake to determine something must be a certain way because we simply can’t imagine it being any other way.
“If they don’t need living space, why are they exploring the galaxy and arriving at our little green speck?”
Maybe that’s why nobody seems to have visited while we have been paying attention. Maybe sessile intelligent culture is much, much more common than what we are.

You could always take her back 4 decades with Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
Well, it’s just an opinion, either way. Until they show up, for all we know there aren’t any. But there could be.
Just if they do show up, I don’t think they will be unarmed, smoking pot, with flowers in their hair, feathers, or whatever.
Cheers
Absolutely, and it’s fun to speculate. But that’s all it is, speculation for sure.

The critters in the yard LOVE you, too, MUD! The other
night, a skunk was inside Dub’s enclosure rubbing noses
with Dub through the doghouse door. Dub threw a fit barking;
but the skunk did not unload its entire arsenal on her.
Things either want to be loved, or else LOVED & LEFT ALONE.
Such as the rattlesnakes & copperheads on our place. So, I
don’t bother them. - I’ve even had wild birds land on my
shoulder and hang out; also butterflies, moths & things.
(The earth shall be full of His knowledge and glory as the
waters that cover the sea. MARANATHA!)
One would hope any aliens out there are smarter than the majority of humanoid voters on this planet.
Wow. That’s pretty complicated. Congrats on putting that together.
I’m sure you will view this as an attack, but it’s not, really. I’m just trying to make a point.
It seems supremely ironic that you will not type the “o” in G_d, out of respect but refuse to believe what he plainly said. Yes, he gave us minds to investigate things, but we should respect Him enough to believe he is powerful enough to do things just exactly as we have been told. If we don’t, we might be saying He’s not who He says He is.
I wasn’t there, so I don’t know how old the universe/world is. But neither were you or any of the other Rabbis or scientists who claim they do by invoking these theories.
I can tell you one thing, however - even a mediocre artist can paint a picture of a redwood tree that is several hundred years old, and do it in one day. It’s not that old, but it looks like it. It’s not even a tree, but it looks like one.
ANYTHING scientists come up with requires assumptions. What if those assumptions are wrong? To quote your post:
“The Big Bang Theory says the universe started as a singularity, then the laws of physics were suspended for a while as everything expanded at faster than the speed of light.”
Suppose that was a few thousand years, and not just for an instant. Boy, it might make the universe look lots older. If you can’t count on the constant speed of light, you’ve really got a mess on your hands, haven’t you? Suppose that Doppler shift is not the product of motion, but of a still-changing light speed out there?
I’ll stick with what God chooses to tell me. Does he mean a 1000-year day? Perhaps, but that doesn’t appear to be what He chose to tell us in the text.
Maybe he just painted those stars a few thousand years ago... Have a nice day.
It seems supremely ironic that you will not type the o in G_d, out of respect but refuse to believe what he plainly said.

When I quote from a source, I don’t edit the source’s use of language.
As long as you have confessed with you mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
There is a story about a Rabbi who was particularly pleased with himself for fashioning a beautiful prayer. Elohim told him that there was a man in another town who created a better prayer, and told the Rabbi how to find that person. When the Rabbi found the person, he found an almost illiterate peasant. The Rabbi asked the peasant about his prayer, and peasant told the Rabbi that he only knew the first ten letters of the Aleph-Bet, so he recited these and then asked Elohim to put them together in the form of a prayer that pleased Elohim.
I beg your pardon, then. I did not realize you were quoting from a source.
As for this:
“As long as you have confessed with you mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
God Bless you, brother. The details may or may not ever be revealed to us, but ultimately, they probably won’t matter. See you there.
