Umm, they’re going to die one way or another, all of us are. Choosing to die without subjecting yourself to a bunch of torturous treatments that won’t help is not a sin.

agree with you....Being an old nurse, after 10 years in hospital work, we get to see the end results of many codes..the person may be resuscitated but with much brain damage and many remain in a coma....I told my kids and put in writing “no code” Its in the part of my will with my children (2) in charge of any thing that may put me in the hospital, accident, stroke, etc. Had a long talk with both and every couple of years one of them asked me if I had changed my mind of NO CODE. Thought about a tattoo on my chest do not resuscitate but my chest wasn't big enough for that. This article gives me the no CPR will fit. And I am as serious as a heart attack...
