These airmen did not do this alone, they where ORDERED by someone to do this if the word God was mentioned, this goes way up the chain of command. Follow it.

I watched it four times

As I see it;

The ceremony was probably supposed to be a silent display (only music in the background, no words)

A man in civvies stands up and a uniform IMMEDIATELY stands beside/behind him ... and seems to be telling him to sit down

Until the civvies start to speak

The civvies started out describing "Our flag" and describes color etc

Three front row uniforms stand up and one is told to stand down .. a fourth (now three total) joins and the civvies is forced off the stage

ONLY THEN OFF CAMERA, IS THERE ANY MENTION OF CHRIST (NOT GOD)

I conclude there was an invitation to speak and a copy was requested
The copy was submitted
The speech was rejected for language and an offer to allow the speech without certain language
The civvies refused
The speech was allowed but the men in the room were alerted

IN A WAY ... this was staged

someone "fallible and uninspired"?

"...who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men, have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavoring to impose them on others, hath established and maintained false religions over the greatest part of the world, and through all time;
