Yes, they are inept. I once tried to enlighten a WashPost reporter about Harry Reid’s land scam but he never followed up. Harry made a big profit on a parcel of land, even though he did not hold title. He claimed that was an oversight. What Harry did was turn what should have been reported as ordinary income into capital gains treatment.

Also, there is no satisfaction of mortgage recorded on the 2013 original mortgage. Here we are in June, and you'd think by now there would be one filed for an April transaction. Anyone contact the bank? Is brother-in-law keeping up the payments? The mortgage is for $76,000.

So many questions. I'll be checking for the lis pendens ... not holding my breath.
