Irony alert (since Samuel Jackson is a leftist):
It is the American Left that has diminished the value placed upon human life (see, among other things, Planned Parenthood abortion industry, Occupy Wall Street rape and murder, registered Democrat Party mass murderers).
And it is not just the South of old. Public schools used to have shooting ranges in their basements. School shootings: zero.
