I sort of miss him.

Looks like you miss him a lot. I have no problem with that arrogant POS being taken down, but the manner that was used was obviously counter-productive. According to the CIA director's testimony today there's a massive ISIS presence there now instead, that won't be rooted out quite so easily.

I recall that K’daffy had a change of heart and ended his own wmd program when we invaded Iraq. He bowed out of the race and posed no threat to his neighbors.

Obama’s Mideast policy—seen in hindsight—was to repudiate, disown, renounce, and reverse any and everything accomplished prior to his assumption of power. O set out to paint a new picture over the old one— one more in keeping with his own aesthetic taste. For him and his ilk, morality and practicality are subordinate to aesthetics.

In the whirlwind that has followed it’s evident that K’daffy’s prior compliance with the US actually sealed his doom. Now, Libya will soon be another theocratic belligerent in a region that may never know stability and peace again.

What will be said of this in the future?
Academe will squat amid the ashes and ponder the question of how those people could have made such a shambles of this visionary’s benevolence.
