Each individual’s concept of liberty and right of secession differs. For example, this woman presents some thought-provoking material. Most of it makes excellent sense, although, IMO, at some point towards the end of the video, she “loses” me : )

There are Libertarians who believe slightly differently. And then, there are min-anarchists who hold alternate beliefs.
We live under the United States Constitution, which speaks to States rights, and does not mention County rights. I suspect County rights would fall under each individual state’s State Constitution.
In the end, I hold individual liberty in the highest esteem. At times, though, it is a challenge to reconcile that with living in a society with other people!
