Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
We know for a fact that this jihadi was investigated, twice (at least) by the FBI. We know that his co-workers marked him as a candidate for Sudden Jihad Syndrome™, but were afraid to speak up for fear of being accused of “Islamophobia”. We know for a fact that the perverts who run Disney World reported him as a possible jihadi in April (they have to spend so much time, apparently, finding these guys that they miss the alligators).
I think we know that his father was a guest at the White House.
So, although it is not proved BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT that he was allowed to continue his maturation as a Soldier of Allah due to political interference, it is certainly true by a preponderance of he evidence.
