If there was a massive collapse, that continent would not have sufficient money or infrastructure to effect an expulsion.

The opposite is likely to happen, the radicalized Islamic jihadist and their "tall grass" so-called "moderate" Muslims would see a societal collapse as a prime opportunity to spring into action to take control.
