Thanks for posting the obvious for me....sailors don’t keep secrets well to begin with...and it would have meant at least 330 sailors were universally traitorous.

WTF are you talking about. 330 traitorous sailors, are you demented or something? The fact is when that many people know something, especially something as big as what you suggest, it could never be kept a secret. Even if it was all monks that knew it, it would not be a secret for long.
