Or you can load Mints desktop, Cinnamon 3.0 desktop, on Ubuntu 16.04 and it’s not beta. I’ve been using it for over a month. I installed Ubuntu 16.04 and then installed the Cinnamon 3.0 desktop environment on it. Here is a link showing how to do it:

Interesting. I liked Ubuntu years ago until they went to that awful Unity desktop. I’ll probably just stay with Mint though. It’s been flawless on my ancient laptop and does everything I need a pc to do.
