You must be reading my mind (and my email).
I just yesterday emailed my Congressman Amodei and my Senator Heller saying basically the same thing.
If the Republicans will not and do not support Trump, if they take him down, I will not vote Republican again.
I will always vote but it will be a vote against a Republican.
Nice - in their bubble, they probably figure if they take Trump down, they can fire up us LOSERS to hate Hillary enough to go out and vote for them.
Pretty much the same strategy they used in 2008 and 2012, except that this time there are TWO ADDITIONAL FACTORS involved - either of which would be enough to cause a Democrat blowout:
1) We have now seen that strategy FAIL TWICE
2) We will have our candidate, and HE WAS REMOVED
This will be an epic election if they try that (and not in a good way) and there will be a HUGE number of Republican officeholders packing their bags and probably heading home, as even lobbyist jobs won’t be available to them, in a ONE PARTY STATE.

I did the same. We had a decent chance of taking back the governors office in Washington state - right up til the pubbie candidate weasel-worded on the phag marriage issue. He lost big.
He and the former head of the Washington state pubbie party are campaigning for state offices but both of them condemned Trump.
I sent them word that I would not only not vote for them but campaign for their opposition if they didn’t get in line. They know me from the local campaigns that I worked on. It remains to be seen whether or not they call my bluff but I’m eager to take them both down.
