Everything that I learned about the left being basically amoral, I learned from a personal experience over twenty years ago (can not talk about it here or in other forums publicly) that influenced me a great deal to convert to being a conservative. Whenever I read about stories like this, I am reminded of that experience all of those years ago.

I'll tell you about my VERY leftist friend who thinks the rich don't pay their fair share and once said to me, "I have to see how much money I have left before I do my taxes." In other words, she cheats on her taxes.
