Off of the top of my head, Lebanon comes to mind, although muslims are only a slight majority there (%52-55 I think).

That is a good example, but as you say, it was a three-way (Muslim/Muslim/Christian) nation that had to operate by a coalition. I’m talking a dominant Muslim country. For example, Turkey has never been ruled by a non-Muslim to my knowledge.
