To: Wyrd bið ful aræd

I was watching a program on TV about the early days of WWII.

I was surprised (maybe shocked is a better word) to learn that in one huge tank battle, the Germans lost 156 tanks and the French, around 100. It sounds like the French were capable but poorly led.

No radios: tanks were thought of mainly as infantry support. The French and British had no idea of combined arms operations. The Germans did.
