There is a major reason the liberals call it “gender identity” instead of sex. 80%+ of transgenders are men who think they are women. Fewer than a quarter of these transgenders have the male plumbing removed, though many grow breasts. So the majority of these “transgenders” are mentally ill men who dress as women but retain a man’s organs - hence the controversy. If they’ve had the male organs removed, most women wouldn’t care - he’s a eunuch, not a threat. A crazy dude with the plumbing, is a threat.

Why people would attack a “transgender” - most of them are mentally ill men with the plumbing in women’s spaces.
