I’ve always thought it wrong that feminists want “equality” for women in all things but still want separate mens/womens sports competitions. Either you have “equality” or you don’t.

Healthy, sensible, self-respecting female athletes are a world apart from neurotic “politically correct” usually man-hating feminists. I don’t think there are really any similarities between the two groups; they could not be more unlike. What female athletes want in to do in sports is entirely separate from feminists who generally eschew sports.

Feminists want “equality.” On the other hand, female athletes are just as competive as male athletes and want to test their mettle against each other and have a real competition, just as men do!

Besides which, ultimately sports are supposed to be fun; fun to play and fun to watch. It is no fun whatsoever playing (or watching) games where some athletes whose strength and skill are hopelessly outclassed by others, beyond any semblance of a competeton — and that is true for every last one of us. We all enjoy matches where we are playing with people who are at our own skill level, or watching matches with athletes who are at roughly the same level in skill and strength. The winner(s) then are the one(s) who have worked the hardest, who are the cleverest and have the most heart and spirit.

This whole thing is ridiculous. That boy should not be playing on the girl’s team. He wins simply by brute strength. This is cheating and bad sportsmanship.
