-—And what race are people from India????-—
Depends on who you ask...
Most classify people’s of India as indo-aryan...
But my point was he is dark skinned..
“...ignoring the use of deer antler spray...”
I don’t follow golf and am not interested in reading the article so can some kind soul concisely explain to me what “deer antler spray” is for in golf?
Yes, I know. Same here. Thanks, though.
How convenient.
Semites and Mexicans are dark skinned. So are southern Italians (Mediterranean blood) . None of those are races
The light upper class ones are largely Aryan. No one would mistake Singh for an Aryan. He's quite dark. (And you do know he's from Fiji, don't you?)
Aryan is not a race
Golf isn’t so bad these days, now that the commentators will sometimes talk about someone other than ‘Tiger’.
Are you one of those ‘no such thing as race’ liberal Sociology or Anthropology profs?
Or do you prefer the Biblical terms of Hammite, Japhethite, and Shemmite?
Vijay violated the rules of golf on the course during competition. Antler extract means nothing. Golf cannot function in an environment where cheaters are tolerated. You cannot have enough referees on the course, so Vijay will always be damaged goods.
Tim Finchem should go public with Phil Mickelson’s punishment.
It was the second time in two years that Mickelson met the media at the Memorial to talk about stock deals instead of his short game. FBI agents met him after his first round of the 2014 Memorial to ask him about bookie Walters during an insider trading investigation.
Mickelson allegedly took the advice of known gambler Billy Walters to buy and sell the stock in order to repay gambling debts to Walters.
That not only looks bad, it is specifically addressed in the PGA Tour’s handbook on player conduct
Caucasoid, Mongoloid, Negroid
Can’t use Mongoloid any more - not politically correct.
Aryan, on the other hand, dates to the Vedic period in India (1000 B.C., give or take a few hundred years). And, of course, there are the Indo-Aryan languages. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indo-Aryan_languages
Language roots yes. Racial characteristic no
But the modern biologists reject the idea of race based on biological characteristics
