I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I don’t remember any of my teachers EVER looking like this!
I had a crush on Mrs. Ward in 3rd grade. She had a bee hive hairdo and was 50 pounds overweight. I used to save my tator tots from lunch for her. She loved them and she graciously accepted them. That’s as far as it went.
There were a few cute teachers, but most were older.
My guess is that, two generations ago, teaching was something women got into after their kids were grown and out of the house.
True story one of my Jr high school teachers was a playboy bunny Mrs Skow she was boink ing the wood shop teacher one of the other Mrs Faulkner was fine as heck
