It’s feminist activism because they don’t see themselves at all as being easy or as being sluts. It’s young women doing what they’re doing “because they can” and it’s feminism that tells them that they can. It’s empowering and that’s why feminism is attractive to them.
Well not to beat a dead horse but I saw similar behavior years before there was a feminist movement. This isn’t atypical in some parts of latino culture. It’s not WASP society.
