For a while they were only making 1940’s tech motorcycles. It’s good that now they’re making ‘70s era bikes.

I have been a huge flat track fane for many years, even a sponsoring amateur flat track rider that won an AMA Amatuer National Championship.
But most of my sponsoring and tuning activity has been in AMA road racing having been involved with a father and then his son who were and are AMA Pro Roadracers. Those here that are familiar with AMA Roadracing should reconize the names Marvin and Cory West.
Any how I am looking forward to seeing this bike at first time running of the AMA Oklahoma City Mile in about 3 weeks at Remington Park!!!

As the proud owner of a 1991 Katana 1100, I can say: that was funny!

Well, of course not! Isle of Man requires a bike that can turn.

(Nothing is sometimes the right thing to do, and always a wise thing to say.)
I always loved the look & sound of the XR750, but from people who tried to run them on the streets, I had heard nothing but nightmares.
For a while, I seriously gave thought to getting one of Mert Lawwill’s “XR-1200s,” but I believe he quit building and selling them before I could really afford it.
The replicas that HD was selling (XR1000, XR1200) really weren’t very good reps, and way over-priced for what you got

Funky. I’m not seeing the point, since the wheel supposedly goes in a circle.

Here's the pic of the HD XG750R Flat Tracker
Looks like a 1980's era Yamaha, imo.
