Real question: what kind of knife is used to castrate pigs?
The instrument used on my granddads farm in the 50s looked like an ice cream scoop. One with a squeeze lever that activated a cutter in the scoop portion.
Quickly turned noisy with piglet squeals and sunlight shafts filled with dust. Quite an impression for a non-farm kid.
