Two untitled paintings, 2016 by my six year old child
If I can do it, it ain’t art.
The one on the right is far superior to the Pollack. I can see the fun your child had making it!
The below not pertaining to your artistic six year old at all:
I hate talentless art that has to be “understood” by the elite artist who is probably a horrible arrogant freak.
You will be sued by Pollock for infringing on his invented concept style of art. Shortly.
Harry made a bareback rider
Proud and free
Upon a horse
I like your six year old’s art much better :)
The only thing that made Pollock’s work famous was he was the first. That’s about all you have to do in the modern art movement. Talent is not required. Be the first to save urine in a jar and insert a crucifix. Boom, you’re famous. Be the first to paint the virgin Mary with elephant dung. Boom, you’re famous. Be the first to give finger paint to a chimpanzee. Boom, you’re famous.
Compare those works of Pollock and Warhol to Michelangelo and DaVince.
Once I took my daughter with the women’s group at church to an art exhibit. She understood the older paintings of famous people and scenes, but was confused by the abstract art, stating her younger brother did that at daycare for free and no one put it on the wall here.
